Garden

The gardens and woodlands are to the front and side of the Hall and have been designated of historical importance by CADW.

To the rear of the Hall is a castellated wall that bounds the gardens. Beyond the wall is a large drop that leads to a steep bank down to wood land. The height of the wall is low and as such can be easily climbed. The owners are not permitted to raise the height of the wall due to conservation restrictions. The height restrictions also apply to the balconies and care should be taken with the supervision of children.

In addition to the lawn areas there are woodland walks to be enjoyed. There is also a sunken garden situated to the left of the entrance gates (the hall at your back looking towards the main gates).

There is a viewing platform with table and chairs to the side of Argoed Hall.

Due to planning restrictions garden furniture cannot be laid out in the gardens.

This restriction does not apply to the sunken garden and seating can be enjoyed in this area.
